My dad told me to look into London sightseeing and touristing destinations so he could pick a hotel in either Kensington, Hyde Park, or Mayfair. I’m leaning towards the latter two because they’re closest to the Palace, Westminster and the Clocktower…

But basically what I’m trying to do is actually commit to a game plan, and not just sit here giggling at Google Maps views of Baker Street like a complete idiot schoolgirl.

Any Londoners or experienced travelers, what else should I see in the city? As Anglophilic as I am, I’m going into this one raw as sushi.

  1. justamus said: I’ve stayed in the Melia White House hotel, which was very convenient, whether you use the Tube or walk. I can recommend it, and the Spanish restaurant in it has won awards. :)
