Guilt and shame

I have to go to the hospital tomorrow to do something about myself, but I am fucking TERRIFIED that I’ll be detained. Terrified, humiliated, guilty about missing work, just. Augh.

I know I have to go, but god I don’t want to be locked up like some sort of Girl Interrupted.

  4. friendlyuncle said: I’m pretty sure they can’t do that. As long as you’re not doing anything illegal they can’t hold you against your will. Don’t be afraid, this is a good thing. You’re seeking help. Get help. Get better. Tell yourself it’s going to be okay.
  5. manicscribble said: You will be okay. UuU there is nothing shameful about understanding you need some kind of help. That in itself says you aren’t the sort that would be detained forever like you’re fearing. *hugs*
